Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 80) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ted McCloud kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Manley in the 3rd minute of play forced Middleton's goalkeeper Glen Bishop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Middleton's Kraig Ciccaglione got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Forrest Swartz's late challenge caught a Middleton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Forrest Swartz helped the player get up and apologised. Forrest Swartz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Orville Kauffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Parks struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Glen Bishop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munroe Falls Fc. Benito Parks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marquis Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Manley scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glen Bishop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lee Manley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Glen Bishop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Moyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Bergstrom in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Middleton's Ferdinand Neal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Glen Bishop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forrest Swartz in the 38th minute of play. Munroe Falls Fc's Benito Parks was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gabriel McGee made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Middleton's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Parks came free, but Glen Bishop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Middleton's goalkeeper Glen Bishop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Parks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Bishop having to interfere. When Stuart Wells fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middleton's protests and gave Stuart Wells a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Middleton got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Wells. If Benito Parks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Bishop came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Munroe Falls Fc's Benito Parks. But to his dismay, Benito Parks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Benito Parks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Middleton's Glen Bishop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Forrest Swartz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glen Bishop was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Middleton defense, Ted McCloud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glen Bishop. The Middleton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glen Bishop should have stopped the shot. Benito Parks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Salvatore Kaiser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Munroe Falls Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Kaiser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Middleton's goalkeeper Glen Bishop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Munroe Falls Fc had played much better football throughout.
