In the 2nd minute, Wilfred Sexton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Rubin Kazan's Salvatore Lind got a free kick in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Nompton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Fuentes came free, but Wilford Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nompton FC's Wilford Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Nompton FC from getting a goal against them. If Matt Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nompton FC's zone, Justin Platt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilford Hong came out of the goal and Justin Platt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilford Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Brian Jaramillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyle Albert in the 32nd minute of the match. Nompton FC's Wilford Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Fuentes in the 37th minute of play. Brice Baltazar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Matt Fuentes made the kick off in the second half. Lyle Albert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Rubin Kazan's Matt Fuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilford Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kermit Hoffman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Lyle Albert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Nompton FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Sexton. Matt Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wilford Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lyle Albert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Baltazar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Brian Jaramillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kermit Hoffman in the 80th minute. If Matt Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, FC Rubin Kazan's Justin Platt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilford Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
