Wilford Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Nompton FC got a freekick which was hit by Brice Baltazar. Santiago Goldstein placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 14 minutes into the match, Tomás Argoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilford Hong. Nompton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Argoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Adolfo Redmond hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Tomás Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marty Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kermit Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Adolfo Redmond was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Adolfo Redmond hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Argoitz in the 31st minute of play forced Nompton FC's goalkeeper Wilford Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Tomás Argoitz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 36th minute, Tomás Argoitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilford Hong. The goal made the score 2-0. Tomás Argoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilford Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Argoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilford Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Marty Latham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kermit Hoffman in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Almunge IK's zone, Kermit Hoffman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marty Latham came out of the goal and Kermit Hoffman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilford Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kermit Hoffman got free with Marty Latham in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tomás Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almunge IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilford Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wilford Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kermit Hoffman charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kermit Hoffman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nompton FC's Kermit Hoffman got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Silban in the 77th minute of play forced Nompton FC's goalkeeper Wilford Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilford Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Enoch Chamberlain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Hong having to interfere. Almunge IK's Enoch Chamberlain got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Argoitz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilford Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes, Tomás Argoitz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nompton FC's Wilford Hong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almunge IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
