When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Theocharis Kafritzakis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucien Bateman. Lucien Bateman made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Theocharis Kafritzakis sent off a good shot on target. Leland Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Leland Avery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from C.J. Jeffers in the 9th minute of the match. Calvin Crawford did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lucien Bateman 10 minutes into the match. Leland Avery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cody Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.C. Velez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonnie Lim in the 18th minute of play forced ROGENE CITY FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bateman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ROGENE CITY FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cody Lang hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, ROGENE CITY FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bateman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theocharis Kafritzakis. In the 23rd minute, Chacarita U.S.'s Calvin Crawford ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucien Bateman. Lucien Bateman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 28th minute, Chacarita U.S.'s Calvin Crawford dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Byron Richey hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Chacarita U.S.'s Carson Porter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucien Bateman but with some difficulty. Sidney Mattson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, C.J. Jeffers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leland Avery was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 41 minutes into the match, ROGENE CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lonnie Lim came free, but Lucien Bateman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Derrick Jimenez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROGENE CITY FC and the Chacarita U.S. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Carson Porter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ROGENE CITY FC's Lucien Bateman didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theocharis Kafritzakis got free with Lucien Bateman in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theocharis Kafritzakis was the one to do the kick off. Leland Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from C.J. Jeffers, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, ROGENE CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derrick Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes of play, Chacarita U.S.'s Calvin Crawford made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucien Bateman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Lonnie Lim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Lonnie Lim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Bateman was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Calvin Crawford scored 7-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Bateman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Theocharis Kafritzakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Calvin Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leland Avery made an important save on a dangerous shot by A.J. Chan in the 94th minute. Calvin Crawford took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucien Bateman. Lucien Bateman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Chacarita U.S. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
