Clay Annan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Abe Silver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aquia Harbour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Silver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ROGENE CITY FC's Lucien Bateman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Ball in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Xavier Ball cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucien Bateman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Xavier Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquia Harbour's Abe Silver suffered a concussion in the 37th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by J.C. Velez during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquia Harbour's Arnoldo Michaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Aquia Harbour from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell C.J. Jeffers to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, A.J. Chan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROGENE CITY FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Xavier Ball came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Aquia Harbour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Ball couldn't finish the play. After having played for 62 minutes, Xavier Ball managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aquia Harbour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Ball was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Cameron Parker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Ball's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucien Bateman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, ROGENE CITY FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bateman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Ball. After having played for 78 minutes, A.J. Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROGENE CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but A.J. Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Michaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROGENE CITY FC's Giuseppe Lundy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnoldo Michaud in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When A.J. Chan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the ROGENE CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that A.J. Chan couldn't finish the play. The Aquia Harbour players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
