In the 3rd minute Calvin Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Theocharis Kafritzakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita U.S. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Chacarita U.S. fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Chacarita U.S.'s Theocharis Kafritzakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 12 minutes, Theocharis Kafritzakis made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ROGENE CITY FC's Lucien Bateman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Calvin Crawford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucien Bateman. ROGENE CITY FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calvin Crawford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 26th minute, Theocharis Kafritzakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Bateman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Lucien Bateman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Wetzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lucien Bateman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Kafritzakis in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Kafritzakis in the 38th minute of play forced ROGENE CITY FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bateman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calvin Crawford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Bateman having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Chacarita U.S.'s Calvin Crawford made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucien Bateman was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Theocharis Kafritzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for C.J. Jeffers to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucien Bateman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darron Perdue went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Lucien Bateman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theocharis Kafritzakis in the 55th minute. Lucien Bateman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Theocharis Kafritzakis sent off a good shot on target. Leland Avery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Chan in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Chacarita U.S. booed when ROGENE CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronnie Wetzel got free with Lucien Bateman in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chacarita U.S. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ronnie Wetzel hit a great ball. Giuseppe Lundy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Calvin Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Bateman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leland Avery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from C.J. Jeffers in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, A.J. Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROGENE CITY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but A.J. Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leland Avery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, ROGENE CITY FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bateman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darron Perdue. In the 94th minute, Placido Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
