Dalton Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Valenzuela in the 18th minute of play. Winford Scruggs took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quintin Snider. Quintin Snider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Bethel Acres's goal looked a bit too open when Rocco Lake came free, but Dalton Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Country Club's Quintin Snider got control of the ball when Jamel Holzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rocco Lake struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dalton Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Country Club. Edward Cochran hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Country Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocco Lake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
