Magno Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mayflower Village AFC's Claudio Lincoln got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Mayflower Village AFC's Shelby Hawk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magno Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Alan Prather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhett Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mayflower Village AFC defense, Rhett Cohen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of J.C. Valdez. The Mayflower Village AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that J.C. Valdez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Mayflower Village AFC booed when scuzzers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes, Mayflower Village AFC's Matt MacDowell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Magno Diniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mayflower Village AFC reached it. In the 27th minute, Jayson Guerra made a precise shot to the right of J.C. Valdez. Mayflower Village AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With his leg J.C. Valdez managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when scuzzers's Rhett Cohen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Magno Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Freeman in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, George McCord managed to get in a good position for a shot. scuzzers's supporters rose to their feet, but George McCord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. J.C. Valdez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Mayflower Village AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Valdez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rhett Cohen. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shelby Hawk to strike the kick off in the second half. Rhett Cohen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but J.C. Valdez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Shelby Hawk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roosevelt Bridges made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by scuzzers's George McCord. 60 minutes into the match, George McCord notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mayflower Village AFC's J.C. Valdez. J.C. Valdez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magno Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perry Freeman went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Mayflower Village AFC's Claudio Lincoln shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Magno Diniz but with some difficulty. 70 minutes into the match, scuzzers's goalkeeper Magno Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perry Freeman. After 74 played minutes scuzzers got a freekick which was hit by George McCord. Rhett Cohen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. J.C. Valdez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russ Walden hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mayflower Village AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Russ Walden hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhett Cohen in the 93rd minute of play forced Mayflower Village AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Valdez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George McCord struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. J.C. Valdez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for scuzzers. A collision led to Mayflower Village AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Roosevelt Bridges hit a great ball. scuzzers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
