Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thaddeus Howard got the match started through his kick off. Columbia Falls's Glen Wise suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 11 minutes into the game, one of Burney:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Renaldo Esparza placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ned Herman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanh Moore charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thanh Moore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanh Moore hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Renaldo Esparza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Grubb. Burney's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Austin Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Columbia Falls got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ayala. When Columbia Falls's Arnold Winter in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burney's goalie prevented a goal. The Burney players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Columbia Falls were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnold Winter to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rickey Bloom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Grubb made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Arnold Winter sent off a good shot on target. When Austin Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Columbia Falls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Austin Rubio couldn't finish the play. Columbia Falls's Arnold Winter was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Arnold Winter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 68th minute of the match, Arnold Winter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Grubb was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Burney's zone, Austin Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Grubb came out of the goal and Austin Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renaldo Esparza, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 75 played minutes Columbia Falls got a freekick which was hit by Rickey Bloom. After a defensive mix-up in Columbia Falls's zone, Thaddeus Howard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenny Cooke came out of the goal and Thaddeus Howard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Arnold Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Columbia Falls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Winter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Austin Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Columbia Falls's supporters rose to their feet, but Austin Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Columbia Falls booed when Burney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devin Leslie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes, Casper Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Columbia Falls and the Burney players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Burney got a freekick which was hit by Devin Leslie. 92 minutes into the match, Burney's goalkeeper Dante Grubb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Austin Rubio. After having played for 96 minutes, Arnold Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Columbia Falls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Winter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Columbia Falls left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Burney.
