Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Fokas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Hilliard's Emilio Stephenson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Bartlett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sérgio Fokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Payton having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Sérgio Fokas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hilliard's Johnathan Payton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Stephenson in the 9th minute of play forced Redmond FC's goalkeeper Orlando Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Sérgio Fokas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hilliard's Johnathan Payton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johnathan Payton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Warren, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Hilliard's Eliseo Patten tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Ove Hjortberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Redmond FC's Orlando Bartlett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Redmond FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Redmond FC booed when Hilliard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Mays didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emery Brower managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redmond FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emery Brower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnathan Payton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Emilio Stephenson made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Denver Mays threw the ball into play from the sideline. Redmond FC's Ove Hjortberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Ove Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Redmond FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Stanford came free, but Orlando Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Thome in the 62nd minute of play. Emery Brower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Payton having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Emery Brower got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Payton having to interfere. Renato Gregory recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Jerome Thome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hilliard's goalkeeper Johnathan Payton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Emery Brower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathan Payton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emery Brower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Payton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hilliard's Jerome Thome got a free kick in the 84th minute. Johnathan Payton was a little too slow when Emery Brower got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hilliard's goalkeeper Johnathan Payton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norberto Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathan Payton having to interfere. When the match was over Redmond FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hilliard throughout the match.
