The supporters of Palacios AFC booed when Rushville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Proctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trenton Deleon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. Julian Hager came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Rushville's Oswaldo Dunham. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Dunham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Oswaldo Dunham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Hager having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Bailey Thome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Dunham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rushville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palacios AFC the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Rushville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Dunham to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rushville getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Riley Clement hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daren Suarez during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Dunham to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Emanuel Castro in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 76th match minute, Palacios AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darell Vick to maneuver through the defense. Palacios AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Oswaldo Dunham scored to the left of an out of position Julian Hager, making the score, 2-2. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rushville's goalkeeper Rico Lyons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bailey Thome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Hager read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Rushville's Oswaldo Dunham got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Bailey Thome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rushville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bailey Thome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Dunham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswaldo Dunham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julian Hager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Donny Abbott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palacios AFC and the Rushville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oswaldo Dunham struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Julian Hager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rushville. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
