Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roland Burrell got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Zachariah Diamond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fultondale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariah Diamond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in McFarland's zone, Roland Burrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rory Dent came out of the goal and Roland Burrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce McIntosh in the 16th minute of play forced Fultondale AFC's goalkeeper Jerry Clarke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Zachariah Diamond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rory Dent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Clarke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Dutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boyce McIntosh was the one to do the kick off. Fultondale AFC's Roland Burrell got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rory Dent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Burrell's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Zachariah Diamond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rory Dent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Burrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roland Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Dent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Burrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greg Westbrook kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Roland Burrell made a precise shot to the right of Rory Dent. McFarland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jerry Clarke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce McIntosh in the 83rd minute of the match. If Roland Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Fultondale AFC's Marquis Aquino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rory Dent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Chu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Fultondale AFC's Roland Burrell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. McFarland walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
