Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kraig Shirley kicked off to start the match. Jerry Clarke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Shirley, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 9th match minute, Fultondale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Salazar to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Fultondale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Salazar. Roland Burrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey James having to interfere. When Fultondale AFC's Roland Burrell in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chickasaw's goalie prevented a goal. Zachariah Diamond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey James having to interfere. Jerry Clarke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anson Thornton in the 25th minute of the match. Joey James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Burrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Roland Burrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chickasaw getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Forrest Moreno hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chickasaw defense, Roland Burrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey James. The Chickasaw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey James should have stopped the shot. Joey James made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Burrell in the 38th minute of play. Roland Burrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Kraig Day hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Roland Burrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey James made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Roland Burrell sent off a good shot on target. Emmitt Corley kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Fultondale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spencer Conley to maneuver through the defense. Joey James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Diamond, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Roland Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah Diamond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey James having to interfere. Zachariah Diamond struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Joey James didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fultondale AFC. Forrest Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Fultondale AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
