When Jefferson Schaffer came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the St. Anthony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Schaffer couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kraig Jensen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Arturo Greer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trenton Cervantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Kraig Jensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. St. Anthony's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Kraig Jensen scored to the left of an out of position Jason Preston, making the score, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tumwater AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for St. Anthony.
