A collision led to Goodview getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dalton Beck hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Stacey McCall put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ryan Reaves. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goodview's goalkeeper Ryan Reaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Ronny Rogers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Goodview's Ryan Reaves. Ryan Reaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stacey McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalton Beck to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Travis Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goodview's supporters crossed their fingers, but Travis Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Rogers in the 63rd minute of play forced Goodview's goalkeeper Ryan Reaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Ryan Reaves throw himself and got hold of the ball when Stacey McCall in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of paperchasers fc booed when Goodview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tracy Roark didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stacey McCall in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Reaves saved Goodview from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Goodview's zone, Roger Arnold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Reaves came out of the goal and Roger Arnold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Goodview fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. paperchasers fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
