In the 12th minute Joey Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Horner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Gutierrez in the 15th minute of play forced Del Aire AFC's goalkeeper Mitch Horner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Enoch Chase shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mitch Horner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Stout in the 22nd minute of play forced Guadalupe's goalkeeper Morgan Weeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Horner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Kellogg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Guillermo Kellogg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Joey Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadalupe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Joel Schulz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Del Aire AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Gutierrez came free, but Mitch Horner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes, Forrest Rojas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Del Aire AFC and the Guadalupe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guadalupe booed when Del Aire AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Forrest Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Kellogg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Kellogg's late challenge caught a Del Aire AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Kellogg helped the player get up and apologised.

52 minutes into the game, Guadalupe's Joey Gutierrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mitch Horner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 56th minute, Aldo Spaulding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Del Aire AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Forrest Rojas got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 63rd match minute, Del Aire AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Forrest Rojas to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Horner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Kellogg in the 64th minute of the match. When Matthew Stout fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Aire AFC's protests and gave Matthew Stout a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Del Aire AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Stout. In the 66th match minute, Del Aire AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Spaulding to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Reinaldo Conn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Del Aire AFC and the Guadalupe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reinaldo Conn kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alonzo Finn was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Del Aire AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Kellogg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Guillermo Kellogg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Horner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Aldo Spaulding might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Morgan Weeks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Spaulding ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Spaulding in the 77th minute of play forced Guadalupe's goalkeeper Morgan Weeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Del Aire AFC's Mitch Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincenzo Delarosa in the 80th minute of play. If Guillermo Kellogg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guadalupe were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
