Dane Locke started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, East Lansdowne's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Emerson came free, but Woodrow Godwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Frank's late challenge caught a South Point's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Frank helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, East Lansdowne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Frank to maneuver through the defense. If Grant Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dane Locke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Francesco Humphries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, South Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jospeh Stapleton to maneuver through the defense. Dane Locke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, South Point's Jospeh Stapleton got a free kick in the 25th minute. Grant Pepper scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Humphries, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Grant Pepper notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of South Point's Francesco Humphries. Francesco Humphries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th match minute, East Lansdowne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Rowe to maneuver through the defense. Justin Emerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Godwin having to interfere. Justin Emerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guillermo Nolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justin Emerson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Justin Emerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Godwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Emerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Godwin having to interfere. Guillermo Nolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Emerson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Woodrow Godwin having to make a save. After having played for 64 minutes, Dane Locke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Lansdowne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dane Locke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Woodrow Godwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Emerson in the 69th minute of the match. Francesco Humphries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Frank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Woodrow Godwin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justin Emerson's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Woodrow Godwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Emerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Justin Emerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Godwin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Emerson in the 84th minute of play forced East Lansdowne's goalkeeper Woodrow Godwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradley Munson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Woodrow Godwin. East Lansdowne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Grant Pepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Humphries having to interfere. Francesco Humphries made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Pepper in the 93rd minute. The East Lansdowne players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented South Point from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
