Dane Locke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Leo Melton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sioux City FC's Mervin Salazar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When %teams%'s Mervin Salazar was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 11 minutes into the game. Woodrow Godwin was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. When Dane Locke came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the East Lansdowne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dane Locke couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in East Lansdowne's zone, Elton Anthony stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow Godwin came out of the goal and Elton Anthony tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, East Lansdowne's goalkeeper Woodrow Godwin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Hampton. Chris Hampton in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Woodrow Godwin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Woodrow Godwin came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sioux City FC's Chris Hampton. But to his dismay, Chris Hampton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. East Lansdowne's Woodrow Godwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save East Lansdowne from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Grant Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grant Pepper was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Grant Pepper's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Melton firmly grabbed it by the left post. Woodrow Godwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mervin Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the game, one of East Lansdowne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Woodrow Godwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervin Salazar in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Sioux City FC booed when East Lansdowne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Frank didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Mervin Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Woodrow Godwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 79 minutes into the match, Sioux City FC's Chris Hampton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Woodrow Godwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mervin Salazar succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 95th minute, Chris Hampton made a precise shot to the right of Woodrow Godwin. East Lansdowne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
