The audience thought a goal was coming when Neal Braden got free with Ian Candido in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Walker Burroughs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Candido was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Walker Burroughs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walker Burroughs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Candido having to interfere. Ian Candido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neal Braden in the 39th minute. Walker Burroughs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Candido having to make a save. Shelton Lowry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blake Leslie in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walker Burroughs was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cucamonga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathan Newell to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walker Burroughs in the 76th minute of play forced Cucamonga FC's goalkeeper Ian Candido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Allan Begay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucamonga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Begay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barry Glenn charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barry Glenn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute Blake Leslie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shelton Lowry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Reginald Mendoza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cucamonga FC and the Tiptonville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cucamonga FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tiptonville FC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Al Ruff, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cucamonga FC's Ian Candido. 2-1. Tiptonville FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
