Arkansas City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiptonville FC the free kick. The Tiptonville FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arkansas City FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walker Burroughs was the one to do the kick off. If Donovan Hobbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Al Crews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neal Braden, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiptonville FC's goalkeeper Shelton Lowry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shelton Lowry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Hobbs's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neal Braden in the 86th minute of play forced Arkansas City FC's goalkeeper Al Crews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Walker Burroughs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Hobbs in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shelton Lowry saved Tiptonville FC from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Bobby Lincoln left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiptonville FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Arkansas City FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
