Roger Jenkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Heller in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Thobias Valcke had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. HighGear made a substitution. Nolan Vaughn replaced Thobias Valcke. 14 minutes into the game, one of Wasco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeremias Vidal placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Joey Nicholas charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joey Nicholas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joey Nicholas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Roger Jenkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Palacios in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Vidal got free with Ari Cortes in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jeremias Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. HighGear's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ari Cortes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emmanuel Green hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Wasco FC's goalkeeper Ari Cortes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nolan Vaughn. When Joey Nicholas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moses Palacios to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Bradley Bradford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HighGear's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wasco FC the free kick. Moses Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Roger Jenkins made a huge save. With a little luck, HighGear's Roger Jenkins got control of the ball when Moses Palacios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ari Cortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Vidal in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Jeremias Vidal made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wasco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moses Palacios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 85 played minutes Wasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Heller. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wasco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HighGear.
