Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, J.C. Ambriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Des Arc AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St. Simons the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Von Willett during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Von Willett kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Des Arc AFC's Eric McDonough broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Desmond Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marc Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus White kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Desmond Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Simons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desmond Carrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Len Farrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. St. Simons's Desmond Carrillo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Des Arc AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfred Dubois to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desmond Carrillo got free with Marc Figueroa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Len Farrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Levi Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Jacques hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Levi Edwards managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Des Arc AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levi Edwards was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes, Desmond Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St. Simons and the Des Arc AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes St. Simons got a freekick which was hit by Desmond Carrillo. Len Farrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Figueroa having to interfere. When Len Farrell came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the St. Simons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Len Farrell couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Len Farrell made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Des Arc AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Painter to maneuver through the defense. If Desmond Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Des Arc AFC's Jesus White got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Len Farrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Figueroa having to interfere. Marc Figueroa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desmond Carrillo went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marc Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desmond Carrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Des Arc AFC got a freekick which was hit by J.C. Ambriz. Marc Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Carrillo in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Desmond Carrillo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marc Figueroa. If Len Farrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Des Arc AFC's goalkeeper Marc Figueroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Len Farrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. St. Simons's Len Farrell got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Rosen in the 98th minute of play.
