When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jan Rosiewicz sped through Evanescence Soccer Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jordan Dupree. Evanescence Soccer Club's Jordan Dupree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Rosiewicz in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Boca Raton F.C. were awarded a corner. Cristobal Lucado went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Boca Raton F.C. booed when Evanescence Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Hensley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Christian Carbajal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Raton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Carbajal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Boca Raton F.C.'s 李沙竞 got control of the ball when Josh Haney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kraig Michaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jordan Dupree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes Evanescence Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristobal Lucado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cristobal Lucado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Evanescence Soccer Club's Jordan Dupree did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurice Burger during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maurice Burger hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Tristan Holliday sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordan Dupree skillfully saved the ball. After 44 played minutes Boca Raton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Javier Merlo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kraig Michaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordan Dupree. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Michaud ran back to his position shaking his head. Jordan Dupree made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Rosiewicz in the 62nd minute of play. Boca Raton F.C.'s Christian Carbajal got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Boca Raton F.C.'s Jan Rosiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 69th minute Jan Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Dupree saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tristan Holliday fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Raton F.C.'s protests and gave Tristan Holliday a yellow card for diving instead.
