Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daren Villa got the match started through his kick off. When Ken Griffith came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Mos Eisley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ken Griffith couldn't finish the play. If Dan Bearden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Ken Griffith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincenzo Ward was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benedict Sykes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Chad Washington sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mos Eisley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madawaska the free kick. A collision led to Mos Eisley FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jerônimo Tróia hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Daren Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincenzo Ward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Griffith in the 19th minute of play. Benedict Sykes was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Dan Bearden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dan Bearden really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Vincenzo Ward took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daren Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Trent Doss notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Madawaska's Vincenzo Ward. Vincenzo Ward was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 played minutes Madawaska got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Karros. After some careless play in the Madawaska defense, Ken Griffith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincenzo Ward. The Madawaska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincenzo Ward should have stopped the shot. Mos Eisley FC's Daren Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Bearden was the one to do the kick off. Ken Griffith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mos Eisley FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kenny Winters hit a great ball. Madawaska's Chad Washington got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Daren Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mos Eisley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daren Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Ward breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chad Washington in the 75th minute of play forced Mos Eisley FC's goalkeeper Benedict Sykes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daren Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincenzo Ward. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daren Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. When Salvatore Collier fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madawaska's protests and gave Salvatore Collier a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Madawaska got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Collier. In the 82ndth minute of the game Daren Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madawaska's Vincenzo Ward was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mos Eisley FC's Detlef Gunkel was substituted for Trent Doss. The supporters of Mos Eisley FC booed when Madawaska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Collier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daren Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Ward having to interfere. Ken Griffith in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vincenzo Ward, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Mos Eisley FC booed when Madawaska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Collier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Mos Eisley FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Madawaska throughout the match.
