Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Bermudez started the match with the kick off. Atletico Nacional's Titus Pickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Eddy in the 6th minute of play. Titus Pickens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monte Eddy went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Ernesto Bermudez made a precise shot to the right of Porter Bowden. Coal Valley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 18 played minutes Coal Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Person. Porter Bowden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto Bermudez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Porter Bowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Person in the 21st minute of play. Ethan Person fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter Bowden having to interfere. If Ethan Person had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter Bowden having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Coal Valley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Boyce to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Coal Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Boyce. Porter Bowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Bermudez in the 43rd minute of play. Ethan Person fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter Bowden having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monte Eddy to make the kick off. Porter Bowden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Person, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter Bowden having to interfere. Denny Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Denny Lugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 91 minutes of play, Atletico Nacional's Ernesto Bermudez made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Porter Bowden was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Ernesto Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
