Clint Friend lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 14th minute, one of Alexander City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alexander City. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Village Green. Rex Pearce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teodoro Coleman. 0-2. Milo Alvarado's late challenge caught a Village Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milo Alvarado helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Alexander City's zone, Chance Grover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Coleman came out of the goal and Chance Grover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Alexander City getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Moses Altman hit a great ball. In the 27th play minute Milo Alvarado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Glenn Crum. 1-2. Spencer Hood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodoro Coleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Village Green's goalkeeper Glenn Crum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyce Gustafson. Boyce Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Crum having to interfere. Boyce Gustafsons short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Glenn Crum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodoro Coleman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spencer Hood in the 42nd minute of the match. Glenn Crum made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Boyce Gustafson sent off a good shot on target. Village Green's Glenn Crum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deshawn Farris in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Elijah Coffman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Village Green and the Alexander City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alexander City booed when Village Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elijah Coffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chance Grover made a kick off. The supporters of Alexander City booed when Village Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Marsh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Village Green's Spencer Hood got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boyce Gustafson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glenn Crum having to make a save. Teodoro Coleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chance Grover in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Alexander City getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Milo Alvarado hit a great ball. Spencer Hood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Chance Grover took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Teodoro Coleman to make any attempt to save it.
