French Camp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willimantic the free kick. A collision led to French Camp getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. After the first half Willimantic were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andreas Garrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noah Patrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Livingston having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Noah Patrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Livingston was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fabian Jacques was a little too slow when Andreas Garrett got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Garrett in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Jacques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Noah Patrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. French Camp's supporters rose to their feet, but Noah Patrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Livingston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Darnell Armenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Willimantic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave French Camp the free kick. Willimantic's Tommy Livingston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Patrick in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Willimantic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
