The tension between the Georgetown and the Rogers Park Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Georgetown getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jaime Marcus hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute, Carson Roche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rogers Park Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Dominique Granger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carson Roche's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Parker John skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carson Roche did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Parker John 14 minutes into the match. Carson Roche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Parker John read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Georgetown booed when Rogers Park Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanner Finney didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 32 in the game by Carson Roche from a close distance when the talented Parker John managed to make a qualified save. Georgetown's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson Roche in the 33rd minute of play forced Georgetown's goalkeeper Parker John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carson Roche who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Parker John when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute Krasimir Tzukev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parker John didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carson Roche went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Rogers Park Lions FC booed when Georgetown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Strickland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Carson Roche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Parker John. The goal made the score 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carson Roche to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rogers Park Lions FC's Carson Roche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Parker John made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 54th minute, Carson Roche made a precise shot to the right of Parker John. Georgetown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 57 played minutes Georgetown got a freekick which was hit by Trevor Cox. 58 minutes into the match, Georgetown's goal looked a bit too open when Mansur Arkan came free, but Parker John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes of play Georgetown's Jaime Marcus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute, Jaime Marcus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 董迅彬 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carson Roche in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Parker John prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Georgetown getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pierre Grace hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Pierre Grace managed to get in a good position for a shot. Georgetown's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Grace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harvey Short recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Tanner Finney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rogers Park Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanner Finney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Harvey Short got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ervin Flood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mansur Arkan came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rogers Park Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mansur Arkan couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Georgetown got a freekick which was hit by Trevor Cox. 90 minutes into the match, Georgetown's goal looked a bit too open when Carson Roche came free, but Parker John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Rogers Park Lions FC's Carson Roche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Parker John made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rogers Park Lions FC had played much better football throughout.
