Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luke Koenig took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Hughes Springs got a freekick which was hit by Lance Murdock. Carson Kidd acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Derrick Kearns. Derrick Kearns, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Craig MacFarland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Nieves having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig MacFarland got free with Carson Kidd in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Craig MacFarland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carson Kidd made a huge save. Luke Koenig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Nieves having to make a save. Corey Urmanski charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corey Urmanski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hughes Springs booed when Loch Lomond FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Urmanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Hunter during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loch Lomond FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Ed Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Booth in the 37th minute of play forced Loch Lomond FC's goalkeeper Francisco Nieves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie Payton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Carson Kidd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Harper, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Luke Koenig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Harper made a kick off. Roland Lanier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Francisco Nieves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 55 minutes, Ed Booth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hughes Springs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ed Booth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Thomas Harper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carson Kidd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 58th minute of the match Corey Urmanski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Corey Urmanski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 59 played minutes Loch Lomond FC got a freekick which was hit by Corey Urmanski. 62 minutes into the match, Hughes Springs's Roland Lanier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Nieves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roland Lanier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Hughes Springs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luke Koenig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Francisco Nieves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Nieves came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Hughes Springs's Luke Koenig. But to his dismay, Luke Koenig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hughes Springs's Robbie Payton got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ed Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Loch Lomond FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Derrick Kearns hit a great ball. Ed Booth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Hughes Springs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the match, Hughes Springs's Roland Lanier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Nieves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luke Koenig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Nieves firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hughes Springs's Roland Lanier got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luke Koenig took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Nieves. Francisco Nieves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
