Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeremiah Wilhelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Staton having to interfere. Ali Staton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Oakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duane Sellers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Hood in the 13th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Eduardo Hood made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. North Chicago's Duane Sellers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, North Chicago's Doug Emerson got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Alfred Armstrong sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and North Chicago's Duane Sellers didn't even have to move. Eduardo Hood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rashad Shannon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, one of North Chicago:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfred Armstrong walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Damon Gordon hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Eduardo Hood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Chicago's Duane Sellers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Finley getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Richard Madsen hit a great ball. Ismael Gillespie hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ronny Oakes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Duane Sellers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, North Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Hood came free, but Duane Sellers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Ferguson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 69 in the game by Jeremiah Wilhelm from a close distance when the talented Ali Staton managed to make a qualified save. Finley's players were relieved. If Albert Newman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finley's Eduardo Hood got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doug Emerson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Finley got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Flood. Eduardo Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duane Sellers having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Finley had won after a very even match.
