Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brandon Holliday made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Thompson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Rekawiczka, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Wilmer Lord charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Lord the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stone getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wilmer Lord hit a great ball. Brandon Holliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Holliday in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Thompson saved Stone from getting behind. Zygmunt Rekawiczka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dante Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandon Holliday scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Thompson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Stone got a freekick which was hit by Myles Mata. In the 21st minute of the match Elliot Abbott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Thompson skillfully saved the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tryon Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Doyle came free, but Elton Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Thompson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Tryon Town FC's Brandon Holliday. But to his dismay, Brandon Holliday quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Brandon Holliday left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tryon Town FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 33 minutes, Brandon Holliday made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Stone's Dante Thompson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Craig Paris fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stone's protests and gave Craig Paris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Paris to maneuver through the defense. When Tryon Town FC's Brandon Holliday in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stone's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Tryon Town FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Rekawiczka got free with Dante Thompson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zygmunt Rekawiczka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Dante Thompson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56th match minute, Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Thomason to maneuver through the defense. Stone's Dante Thompson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Stone from getting a goal against them. Brandon Holliday struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dante Thompson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tryon Town FC. Esteban Westbrook charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dante Thompson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Echols in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Brandon Holliday's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Thompson was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Tryon Town FC's Dante Thompson threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brandon Holliday, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Craig Paris was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Craig Paris kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Ralph Polk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florent Hoxha kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Tryon Town FC played a much better game than Stone and deserved their victory. The Stone players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
