Erik Connors made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 30th minute, Ruben Dobbins made a precise shot to the right of Brice Judd. CANADA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Iigo in the 35th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Erik Connors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Connors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Iigo in the 40th minute of the match. Erik Connors didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasio Iigo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 71 minutes, Anastasio Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Chance Mims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Connors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Anastasio Iigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Connors. Liverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Iigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Anastasio Iigo scored 4-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Connors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CANADA's Anastasio Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Taylor Newcomb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CANADA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. When the referee ended the match the CANADA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
