Guillermo Becerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Page, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Clayton Cagle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillermo Becerra. Cadiz Social FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Cadiz Social FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dante Witherspoon hit a great ball. Clayton Cagle, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tobias Page might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Becerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Page ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 minutes of play, Glen Burnie's Lyle Sands made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillermo Becerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cadiz Social FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dante Witherspoon hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Lyle Sands left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glen Burnie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 29 played minutes Glen Burnie got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Porter. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cadiz Social FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Glen Burnie a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clayton Cagle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cadiz Social FC's Guillermo Becerra. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Page in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Becerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lyle Sands managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glen Burnie's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyle Sands was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Becerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Glen Burnie were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Oakley made a kick off. Jeffrey Whittington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Alley, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Glen Burnie's zone, Jaime Oakley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeffrey Whittington came out of the goal and Jaime Oakley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cadiz Social FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alex Marino hit a great ball. Jaime Oakley's late challenge caught a Glen Burnie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Jaime Oakley came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cadiz Social FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Oakley couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Glen Burnie's Lyle Sands nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Becerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Guillermo Becerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Page's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Tobias Page was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Glen Burnie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 91 minutes into the match, Cadiz Social FC's Jaime Oakley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeffrey Whittington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Cadiz Social FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Becerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lyle Sands.
