Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adrian Horner kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute Adrian Horner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachery Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Royce Nunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raymond Tripp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Mack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Bill Carpenter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Alistair Mack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Astoria's zone, Raymond Tripp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Wiggins came out of the goal and Raymond Tripp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Raymond Tripp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Wiggins was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Alistair Mack was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th minute, Raymond Tripp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meraux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alistair Mack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Astoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariah Corona to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Tripp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Zachariah Corona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astoria and the Meraux players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zachariah Corona hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Meraux's Dallas Boyer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Danny Wiggins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Tripp in the 67th minute of play. Royce Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astoria's Danny Wiggins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Felton in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Raymond Tripp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Royce Bennett came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Meraux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Royce Bennett couldn't finish the play. If Raymond Tripp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Mack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Danny Wiggins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Meraux players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
