Surrogate F.C's Edward Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Nava in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dallas Walker during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Surrogate F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raphael Winter charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Winter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raphael Winter hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frankie Nava in the 17th minute of play forced Surrogate F.C's goalkeeper Edward Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Lunsford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Boone in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Surrogate F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Miner to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Berg having to interfere. Surrogate F.C's Raphael Winter got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Raphael Winter off the ground. After 33 played minutes Surrogate F.C got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Winter. The supporters of Real Pol Vazzo FC booed when Surrogate F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Boone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frankie Nava struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Edward Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Pol Vazzo FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Beltran in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Ring to make the kick off. Frankie Nava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edward Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Jonathan Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Pol Vazzo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Harman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Nava in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Surrogate F.C's Francisco Boone got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Real Pol Vazzo FC's Frankie Nava dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Edward Berg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frankie Nava showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Francisco Boone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Nava, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Real Pol Vazzo FC's Jonathan Harman got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Harman struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Edward Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Pol Vazzo FC. Frankie Nava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edward Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jonathan Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Pol Vazzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Harman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Berg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
