But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnathan Ott couldn't finish the play. Johnathan Ott in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lloyd Webb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Robin Cody succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. Holly AFC's Del Sheppard got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrad Craven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Preston Morrow having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Johnathan Ott's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lloyd Webb was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Lloyd Webb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Cody went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to New York Black Eagles FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hayri Sunullah hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in New York Black Eagles FC's zone, Conrad Craven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Preston Morrow came out of the goal and Conrad Craven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Holly AFC's Del Sheppard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Preston Morrow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Preston Morrow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Del Sheppard's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Lloyd Webb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnathan Ott's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Lloyd Webb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Ott in the 40th minute of play. Johnathan Otts short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Lloyd Webb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Del Sheppard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Cody could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Lloyd Webb made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnathan Ott was the one to do the kick off. When Robin Cody came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the New York Black Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 55th match minute, Holly AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thad Santiago to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Odell Houser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Cody in the 60th minute of play forced Holly AFC's goalkeeper Lloyd Webb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to New York Black Eagles FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hayri Sunullah hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, New York Black Eagles FC's goalkeeper Preston Morrow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Del Sheppard. Robin Cody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Robin Cody ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Webb was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Conrad Craven kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Grant Barry lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in New York Black Eagles FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Preston Morrow, was totally fooled by Holly AFC's Gavin Dubois, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Holly AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fletcher Walls hit a great ball. Preston Morrow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Craven, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Conrad Craven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holly AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad Craven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Preston Morrow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Ott in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lloyd Webb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, Ervin Ragsdale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. New York Black Eagles FC's Johnathan Ott got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Johnathan Ott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lloyd Webb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Owens, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Johnathan Ott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. New York Black Eagles FC fully deserved thier win.
