Craig Egan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanford Thompson in the 14th minute of play. Kléberson Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Fenton in the 23rd minute of the match. Bruce Person struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Kléberson Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arab. Ramon Fenton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Santana having to interfere. Kléberson Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Fenton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bruce Person had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanford Thompson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Craig Egan made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruce Person to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Sanford Thompson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Craig Egan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the game, Marty McKinnon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arab's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Belmont Park the free kick. The referee ignored New Belmont Park's protests and gave Ross Luna a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes New Belmont Park got a freekick which was hit by Ross Luna. 71 minutes into the game, Fernando Langston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Belmont Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arab the free kick. Fernando Langston kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kléberson Santana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Fenton got free with Kléberson Santana in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Gibbs charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Gibbs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arab's Craig Egan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ross Luna in the 94th minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Ross Luna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New Belmont Park fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arab had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
