Orland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Emery Goins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emery Goins struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Kasey Boone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orland FC. Kasey Boone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Brennan in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Orland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlin Clayton to maneuver through the defense. Stanton AFC's Logan Hankins couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Orland FC. After a rather tough play, Orland FC's Rickie Stephens got a free kick in the 17th minute. Johnny Moran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Kerry Pierce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stacey Zavala hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Johnny Moran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Orland FC's Kerry Pierce. Kerry Pierce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Stanton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Brennan came free, but Kasey Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Johnny Moran came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Stanton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Moran couldn't finish the play. Stanton AFC's Kasey Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Brennan in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lloyd Aldridge made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emery Goins got free with Kasey Boone in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 55 minutes, Elliot Erickson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliot Erickson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasey Boone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Brennan in the 58th minute of the match. Scott Keen charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Scott Keen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Orland FC booed when Stanton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Keen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin Clayton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasey Boone. Stanton AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johnny Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerry Pierce having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Moran in the 67th minute of play forced Orland FC's goalkeeper Kerry Pierce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lloyd Aldridge fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stanton AFC's protests and gave Lloyd Aldridge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Lloyd Aldridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stanton AFC's goalkeeper Kasey Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lloyd Aldridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerry Pierce having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Stanton AFC's goalkeeper Kasey Boone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emery Goins. Emery Goins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kasey Boone made a huge save. Lance Bledsoe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Kerry Pierce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lloyd Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanton AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
