Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5544, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wally Sizemore got the match started through his kick off. Cody Frey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Quintana went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abraham Enriquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trent Kirkpatrick's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute of the game, Phillip Vasquez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Stephen Hough fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miramar's protests and gave Stephen Hough a yellow card for diving instead. Cliffside FC's Weldon Buckley was substituted for Phillip Vasquez. Stephen Hough hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Parker Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wally Sizemore in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abraham Enriquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Parker Roberts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Weldon Buckley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abraham Enriquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Weldon Buckley in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abraham Enriquez saved Miramar from getting behind. Wally Sizemore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes of play, Cliffside FC's Wally Sizemore made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abraham Enriquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cliffside FC's Weldon Buckley in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miramar's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Weldon Buckley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cliffside FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Weldon Buckley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Enriquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Weldon Buckley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abraham Enriquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Parker Roberts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abraham Enriquez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Miramar's Abraham Enriquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Miramar from getting a goal against them. If Weldon Buckley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Abraham Enriquez managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Cliffside FC's Parker Roberts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Miramar's Abraham Enriquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weldon Buckley in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play Miramar's Stephen Hough was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th minute, Weldon Buckley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abraham Enriquez. The goal made the score 1-3. Wally Sizemore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Cliffside FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wally Sizemore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Enriquez having to interfere. Abraham Enriquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wally Sizemore, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute Parker Roberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Enriquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Quintana scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cody Frey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cliffside FC's Wally Sizemore got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Miramar's goalkeeper Abraham Enriquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parker Roberts. Trent Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Enriquez having to interfere. Cliffside FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
