If Walker Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Reinaldo Chase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Reinaldo Chase ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Quinones was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nathan Hensley was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Corning AFC's Wiley Hedrick got a free kick in the 18th minute. Esteban Quinones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Chase in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Bryon Wiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Luther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryon Wiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryon Wiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monty Luther having to interfere. Wally Bonds took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Esteban Quinones. Corning AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Esteban Quinones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wally Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Esteban Quinones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo Chase's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Bryon Wiley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Chase was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Corning AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Quinones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walker Coulter. In the 53rd minute, Wiley Hedrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Reinaldo Chase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Bryon Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Reinaldo Chase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wickenburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Chase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryon Wiley in the 66th minute of play forced Wickenburg's goalkeeper Monty Luther to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Chase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Quinones having to interfere. Wickenburg's Monty Luther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryon Wiley in the 72nd minute of play. Porter McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Wickenburg defense, Bryon Wiley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Monty Luther. The Wickenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Monty Luther should have stopped the shot. Esteban Quinones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walker Coulter in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Walker Coulter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Corning AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Quinones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walker Coulter. In the 94th minute, Reinaldo Chase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
