Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tad Wells made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Weiser FC's Gilberto Guthrie got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Tad Wells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Wallace Loyd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Sereno and the Weiser FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Jarrod Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilbert Pritchett was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Eliseo Moon charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Moon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Monte Sereno got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Moon. After 14 played minutes, Monte Sereno's Mitch Davidson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kelly Mullen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monte Sereno reached it. If Abdul Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Jarrod Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 23rd minute of the match Ali Barbour completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ali Barbour a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Weiser FC booed when Monte Sereno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Barbour didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Monte Sereno's Abdul Kruse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kelly Mullen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weiser FC's Kelly Mullen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Weiser FC from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monte Sereno! Jarrod Cole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Pritchett having to interfere. Jarrod Cole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilbert Pritchett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Kaiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Jarrod Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbert Pritchett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarrod Cole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarrod Cole to make the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Jarrod Cole elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gilberto Guthrie charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Brian Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wilbert Pritchett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weiser FC's Kelly Mullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Kruse in the 67th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Monte Sereno got a freekick which was hit by Mason Potts. Weiser FC's Gilberto Guthrie got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Gilberto Guthrie off the ground. Abdul Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kelly Mullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sid Coles during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Abdul Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Sereno's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdul Kruse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelly Mullen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Weiser FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Boyce Gregory hit a great ball. Monte Sereno's Abdul Kruse got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Weiser FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
