Monte Sereno's Wilbert Pritchett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Feldman in the 7th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Monte Sereno got a freekick which was hit by Ali Barbour. Dwight Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Wilbur Jennings sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Monte Sereno's Wilbert Pritchett didn't even have to move. With his leg Wilbert Pritchett managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Valentine's Brad Feldman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Feldman in the 20th minute of play forced Monte Sereno's goalkeeper Wilbert Pritchett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brad Feldman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilbert Pritchett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brad Feldman's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Brad Feldman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Wilbert Pritchett made a huge save. Wilbert Pritchett was a little too slow when Brad Feldman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Wilbur Jennings managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilbur Jennings was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilbert Pritchett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brad Feldman's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brad Feldman was the one to do the kick off. Valentine were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Monte Sereno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilbur Jennings took the corner. Valentine's Wilbur Jennings was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilbert Pritchett in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wilbert Pritchett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Feldman in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Brad Feldman made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monte Sereno's Wilbert Pritchett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilbert Pritchett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Feldman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brad Feldman in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilbert Pritchett saved Monte Sereno from getting behind. Brad Feldman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilbert Pritchett having to make a save. In the 68th minute Kurt Maynard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbert Pritchett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Valentine's goalkeeper Mervin Crowell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abdul Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Wilbur Jennings managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentine's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilbur Jennings was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilbert Pritchett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brad Feldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wilbert Pritchett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Brad Feldman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilbert Pritchett was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Roscoe Pujols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wilbert Pritchett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Valentine's Mervin Crowell got control of the ball when Abdul Kruse tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tad Wells in the 96th minute of play forced Valentine's goalkeeper Mervin Crowell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentine walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
