Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jude Schroeder took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 12th match minute, Storm Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintin Reid to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Barnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Pacheco having to interfere. Randy Munoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cliff Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Storm Lake's Noel Doud got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Randy Munoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putnam Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randy Munoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Storm Lake's goalkeeper Cliff Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Barnett. Storm Lake's Cliff Pacheco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Storm Lake from getting a goal against them. Jude Schroeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Putnam Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Schroeder came free, but Asher Hinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Jude Schroeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Quintin Reid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asher Hinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cliff Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Munoz in the 39th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Randy Munoz rounded Storm Lake's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Randy Munoz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Schroeder in the 52nd minute of play forced Putnam Lake's goalkeeper Asher Hinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asher Hinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintin Reid in the 53rd minute. Quintin Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asher Hinson having to interfere. Randy Munoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cliff Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Randy Munoz ran back to his position shaking his head. Asher Hinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Schroeder in the 61st minute of play. Quintin Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asher Hinson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Storm Lake's Ulysses Daly got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jude Schroeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Asher Hinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Jude Schroeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asher Hinson. Jude Schroeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jude Schroeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storm Lake's supporters rose to their feet, but Jude Schroeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asher Hinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Storm Lake's Cliff Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Munoz in the 80th minute of play. When Quintin Reid came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Storm Lake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Reid couldn't finish the play. If Leonard Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cliff Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Barnett in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes, Putnam Lake's Kirk Flint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cliff Pacheco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Putnam Lake reached it. If Leonard Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Putnam Lake had won after a very even match.
