Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bill McKenna made the kick off which started today's match. When Enrique Braxton came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Greenwich AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Braxton couldn't finish the play. Rafael Zeigler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernie Platt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Jesse Pollock kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ernie Platt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill McKenna, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Enrique Braxton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Greenwich AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Enrique Braxton hit a great ball. Greenwich AFC's Bryant Segura pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 14 minutes into the game, Ramiro Whitehead was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fort Lewis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greenwich AFC the free kick. Ramiro Whitehead kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Enrique Braxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Braxton in the 25th minute of play forced Fort Lewis's goalkeeper Ernie Platt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrique Braxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fort Lewis booed when Greenwich AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Zeigler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Roman Cochran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kirby Guevara skillfully saved the ball. Bruce Lofton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ernie Platt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernie Platt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Braxton's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Wesley Britton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45thth minute of the game Bruce Lofton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fort Lewis's Ernie Platt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Enrique Braxton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernie Platt having to make a save. Enrique Braxton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fort Lewis's goalkeeper Ernie Platt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Lewis's zone, Darren Timmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernie Platt came out of the goal and Darren Timmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Braxton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Ernie Platt managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Greenwich AFC's Enrique Braxton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 68 in the game by Enrique Braxton from a close distance when the talented Ernie Platt managed to make a qualified save. Fort Lewis's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Greenwich AFC's Adolfo Aldridge got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Bruce Lofton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Greenwich AFC fans jumped to their feet. The crowd rose to their feet as Greenwich AFC's Enrique Braxton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernie Platt. That made the score 0-1 after 87 minutes of play. Greenwich AFC's Kirby Guevara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosario Guinn in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Darren Timmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greenwich AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
