Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walker Calderwood started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Lane Hodges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hackensack AFC's Clint Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Rubin in the 9th minute of play. Benedict LeBlanc might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedric Rader. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedict LeBlanc ran back to his position shaking his head. Clayton Sandoval charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clayton Sandoval the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 minutes of play, Hackensack AFC's Walker Calderwood made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cedric Rader was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hackensack AFC's Adalberto Alonzo got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 26th play minute Harry Hancock came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cedric Rader. 3-0. Philip Cegielski hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terence Rubin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clint Rosado saved Hackensack AFC from getting behind. Walker Calderwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Rader having to interfere. Harry Hancock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Walker Calderwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hackensack AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Walker Calderwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Rader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hackensack AFC's Clint Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Hackensack AFC from getting a goal against them. When Alfonzo Coley fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C Atlantic Highlands's protests and gave Alfonzo Coley a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Terence Rubin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clint Rosado. That made the score 4-2 in the 79 minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Harry Hancock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hackensack AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Hancock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Walker Calderwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terence Rubin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stephen Duffy struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Clint Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C Atlantic Highlands. After having played for 96 minutes, Terence Rubin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C Atlantic Highlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Rubin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Hackensack AFC were the better team. Hackensack AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
