Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Justin Drake started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Mark Joyner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. South Glens Falls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Mark Joyner scored to the left of an out of position Zachary Lackey, making the score, 1-0. Rigoberto Gates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Aguilera in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to South Glens Falls getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Diego Hickey hit a great ball. Mark Joyner took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachary Lackey. Zachary Lackey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Zachary Lackey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justin Drake showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Tory Hendrickson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Aguilera in the 37th minute of play forced Elkhart's goalkeeper Rigoberto Gates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Lackey made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mark Joyner sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mark Joyner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elkhart's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Joyner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachary Lackey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zachary Lackey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Mark Joyner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Zachary Lackey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Joyner's late challenge caught a South Glens Falls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Joyner helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elkhart's Mark Joyner got a free kick in the 58th minute. Marcus Richter struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zachary Lackey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elkhart. Zachary Lackey came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Elkhart's Justin Drake. But to his dismay, Justin Drake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 76 minutes of play, Elkhart's Mark Joyner made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zachary Lackey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allen London sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Justin Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Lackey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Justin Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Lackey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Drake in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Elkhart were the better team. Elkhart's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
