A beautiful save bye Bainbridge FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 minutes, Wilmer Holliday mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bainbridge FC and the El Cajon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bainbridge FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Wilmer Holliday hit a great ball. Salvador Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Earl having to interfere. If Salvador Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aurelio Earl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Palmer Solis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Troy Aquino collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 41 played minutes Bainbridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Roy Mason. In the 43rd minute Palmer Solis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Earl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brady Karros hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Wilmer Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palmer Solis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Dykes in the 56th minute of play forced El Cajon FC's goalkeeper Boyd Keen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Palmer Solis managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Cajon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Palmer Solis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Earl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boyd Keen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Dykes in the 60th minute of play. Justin Akers took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyd Keen. Boyd Keen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Akers in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyd Keen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boyd Keen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Dykes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. El Cajon FC's Boyd Keen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Akers in the 70th minute of play. If Andy Dykes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Dykes in the 74th minute of play forced El Cajon FC's goalkeeper Boyd Keen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justin Akers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bainbridge FC's Justin Akers, in the 96th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bainbridge FC. Bainbridge FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
