Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Fletcher started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bainbridge FC's zone, Alan Fletcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Earl came out of the goal and Alan Fletcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mayodan booed when Bainbridge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Hart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Earl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Fletcher in the 8th minute of the match. Andy Dykes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Steve Baron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Akers in the 12th minute of play forced Mayodan's goalkeeper Steve Baron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Conley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Earl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Andy Dykes struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Steve Baron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bainbridge FC. Andy Dykes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Andy Dykes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mayodan's Steve Baron. Steve Baron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alan Fletcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bainbridge FC's Aurelio Earl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bainbridge FC from getting a goal against them. Benito Conley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Earl having to interfere. Aurelio Earl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Fletcher in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Brady Karros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bainbridge FC and the Mayodan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brady Karros kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Benito Conley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Earl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Dykes made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Mayodan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daron Paris to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcellus Brown during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Fletcher in the 82nd minute of play forced Bainbridge FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Earl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Hart hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Bainbridge FC's Aurelio Earl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Conley in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Alan Fletcher made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Earl. Bainbridge FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
