Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joesph Kane started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mountain Lake AFC's Kenneth Braswell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Avila in the 15th minute of play. Kenneth Braswell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Avila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheldon Triplett was a little too slow when Sydney Frye got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sydney Frye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sheldon Triplett having to interfere. Kenneth Braswell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Avila in the 30th minute of play. Mountain Lake AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Avila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Avila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sydney Frye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sheldon Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mountain Lake AFC's goalkeeper Kenneth Braswell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Marrero AFC's Earl McCord slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenneth Braswell. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. With a little luck, Mountain Lake AFC's Kenneth Braswell got control of the ball when Earl McCord tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Avila in the 67th minute of play forced Mountain Lake AFC's goalkeeper Kenneth Braswell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joesph Kane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sheldon Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sheldon Triplett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joesph Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Sydney Frye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sheldon Triplett came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain Lake AFC's Joesph Kane. But to his dismay, Joesph Kane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Marrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph Kane came free, but Sheldon Triplett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Frye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joesph Kane came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mountain Lake AFC fans jumped to their feet. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
