The crowd rose to their feet as Ceredo's Woody Hobson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ollie Ogden. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Ollie Ogden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walton Stern in the 8th minute. Rochester Hills's Ollie Ogden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Woody Hobson in the 9th minute of play. Rich Blair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ollie Ogden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woody Hobson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Rochester Hills's Rich Blair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Call made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Shipley in the 25th minute of play forced Rochester Hills's goalkeeper Ollie Ogden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Ogden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Watts in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ben Shipley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ollie Ogden. Ben Shipley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of Rochester Hills booed when Ceredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walton Stern didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rich Blair struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marco Call didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rochester Hills. 41 minutes into the match, Rochester Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Woody Hobson came free, but Ollie Ogden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walton Stern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Ogden having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Woody Hobson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ollie Ogden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Woody Hobson in the 52nd minute of play. Marco Call took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Blair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rochester Hills's Ollie Ogden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Watts in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Rochester Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Woody Hobson came free, but Ollie Ogden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Woody Hobson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ollie Ogden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Shipley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rich Blair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rochester Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Rich Blair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Call breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Woody Hobson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Woody Hobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Ogden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ceredo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ben Shipley hit a great ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Rich Blair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceredo's Marco Call was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walton Stern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Ogden having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Rochester Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarvis De La Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Ceredo's Marco Call played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Newell in the 91st minute of play. Ollie Ogden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walton Stern in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rochester Hills players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ceredo.
